At 1000 Reasons, weekends are made for slowing down and soaking it all in — crackling firepits, paddock-to-plate feasting, and the soulful sounds of local live music drifting across the fields.
Our curated event series brings together the best of the Adelaide Hills: from smooth jazz and acoustic folk to indie roots and stripped-back R&B, all set against the backdrop of our 32-acre farm. The stage? Open skies and picnic grounds made for grazing, lounging, and letting the afternoon roll on.
Blankets supplied, sip something local, and enjoy a rotating lineup of artists that celebrate community, creativity, and the art of unwinding. Whether it’s a sunny lunch session or a firelit evening gathering, every event is designed to feed the senses — with flame-cooked fare, farm-fresh ingredients, and warm, easygoing energy.

🔥 Sunday Feast & Live Music – 1000 Reasons
Sunday 21st September | 12pm – 6pm | $85pp | Limited Tickets
Join us for a long, lazy Sunday in the Adelaide Hills, where fire, flavour, and live music meet in perfect rhythm. From 12pm – 3pm, local favourite Ben Timmis sets the scene with smooth acoustic sounds, while our chefs fire up the Parrilla for an unforgettable shared feast.
The Feast Coal-Roasted Asado Chicken or Beef – flame-kissed, smoky and tender, carved fresh from the Parrilla,Charred Broccolini & Rainbow Carrots – simply dressed to let the fire shine.
Vanilla Bean Pannacotta – silky and delicate, paired with vibrant rhubarb coulis
Tickets are $85 per person including the feast, live music, and access to our licensed picnic grounds. Doors open 12pm, the fire burns until 6pm.
Seats are limited — experience soulful food, live music under open skies, and a Sunday worth savouring.

Join us in the Adelaide Hills for an afternoon of fire, flavour, and live music with the incredible Lucas Day. Known for his high-energy blend of blues and rock, Lucas weaves raw passion with soulful storytelling, drawing inspiration from the likes of Paul Kelly, John Mayer, Hozier, Pinegrove, and The Foo Fighters. His sound is rich, dynamic, and guaranteed to keep the vibe rolling all afternoon.
Relax in our Echunga picnic grounds, soak up the spring air, and enjoy a feast straight from the Parrilla and firepit. Our full open menu will be available on the day, so you can graze, share, and feast at your own pace while the music plays on.
