In May, we turned up the heat—introducing bold pizzas and inviting sharing plates, guided by our new chef, Felipe. Gather around the fire, stay for the stories, and share a feast full of flavor.
Our menu is crafted for sharing—bringing people together, whether you’re a local or visiting. This is your place to feel at home, relax, and have fun. Every meal is better when we share the feast.
We’ve settled into our rhythm now. From Thursday to Saturday, the kitchen is open from 12 to 8.30pm, and on Sundays from 12 to 4.30 pm. Groups of up to 8 enjoy à la carte; groups of 9 or more let us look after you with our "Feed Me" menus designed for a carefree experience.
But beyond those hours, the experience continues: Julie, who’s spent her life cooking and even ran her own cooking school in Malta, bakes with fruit from our orchard, while Glen roasts coffee right here on the farm. Come from 10am for a coffee and a treat, or relax outside with a picnic—because whether it’s a feast or just a moment, we’re here to share it.
If you’re joining us just for coffee and a treat, we’ve got you covered. While our indoor and veranda seating is reserved for restaurant dining, you’re welcome to relax on the grass at a picnic table or with a picnic rug. Come early or linger—there’s always a spot to enjoy! Bookings for the restaurant are strongly recommended.

Step 1: Book in a free 30 minute event phone consult. We will talk you through the process of us working together to create the perfect event at 1000 Reasons.
SETTING THE SCENE
Step 2: A site visit to 1000 Reasons is the next step to discover the scope of your event to accurately give you an accurate quotation. Be prepared to dream what is possible.
IMPLEMENTATION
Step 3: Book in your date! At this stage we will go over the contract and lock everything in. Get excited welcome your guests!
Cooking Events
1000 Reasons cooking events are held throughout the year focusing on regional cuisines, fitpit sessions, guest chef apperances, and specialty skill sessions such as sausage making, cheese making and patisserie. Visit our calandar of events and book in with your families and friends for a fun filled time. Perfect for gifts, corporate events and fun things to do.

We are open Thursday to Saturday 10am - 9pm & Sunday 10am - 5pm. Special events will be annouced via our socials. In addition to our casual cafe, we also host an array of pop up events throughout the year. You can view what's coming up here.
Is your venue licensed?
Yes, we are fully licensed for up to 100 guests.
How many guests can the venue accommodate for private functions?
We can comfortably host up to 100 guests for private events.
Do you offer wedding packages?

Do you have a maximum booking size for the restaurant?
For a la carte dining, the maximum persons per booking is 8. There after for larger groups please let us take care of you with our "Feed Me Menu" options for a carefree experience.
Can we stay overnight at the property?
Coming in late 2026, we’ll be offering three luxury Geodesic Domes for glamping accommodation. Bookings will open in June 2026.
Are children welcome?
Absolutely. Families and children are always welcome at 1000 Reasons.
As a working rural farm, our property offers plenty of open space for children to explore and enjoy. We kindly ask that parents and guardians actively supervise children at all times and help us care for the natural environment by respecting gardens, trees, farm infrastructure, and wildlife.
Please be mindful that native animals, insects, uneven ground, and other rural hazards may be present throughout the property. For everyone's safety and enjoyment, children should remain within sight of their supervising adult and avoid climbing trees, fences, or other farm structures.

Is your venue pet-friendly?
Yes — well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome outside! We simply ask that owners clean up after their pets.
Do you cater for dietaries?
Yes, any allergies or deitary requirements can be catered for, please notify us upon booking so we can help you.
What happens in bad weather — is there shelter available?
We offer both indoor and covered outdoor dining areas, though our picnic grounds and firepit are open-air spaces.
Is the venue accessible?
Yes, 1000 Reasons is accessible for guests with mobility needs and wheelchairs. Please note that our driveway is unsealed, as we are located on a rural property.
Can I purchase a 1000 Reasons Gift Voucher?
Yes! E-Gift Vouchers are available for purchase and will be emailed directly to you. Please refer to the T&Cs in our online booking system for details.
